Get Crowned Sword Zacian & Crowned Shield Zamazenta in Pokémon Go

Niantic has made it easier for Pokémon trainers to get their hands on Crowned Sword Zacian and Crowned Shield Zamazenta. These powerful forms can be obtained through a form change, which requires less energy than previously thought.

To start, you’ll need to transform your Hero of Many Battle Zacian or Zamazenta into the desired form. This process works differently from the Fusion mechanic in Pokémon Go, requiring only one Pokémon for either Crowned Sword Zacian or Crowned Shield Zamazenta.

The requirements for getting both Crowned Sword Zacian and Crowned Shield Zamazenta are as follows:

– Crowned Sword Zacian: 1,000 Crowned Sword Energy, 30 Zacian Candy, and a Hero of Many Battles Zacian that knows Iron Head.
– Crowned Shield Zamazenta: 1,000 Crowned Shield Energy, 30 Zamazenta Candy, and a Hero of Many Battles Zamazenta that knows Iron Head.

Trainers can check if their Hero of Many Battle Pokémon knows Iron Head by visiting the dedicated page in Pokémon Storage. From there, they can select the ‘Change Form’ option to transform their Pokémon into the desired form.

Once transformed, Crowned Sword Zacian and Crowned Shield Zamazenta will be available for use in battle, including Max Battles. These powerful forms have access to featured attacks like Behemoth Blade and Behemoth Bash, which are super effective against certain types of Pokémon.

The best part? After transforming a Zacian or Zamazenta once, the energy cost is removed, allowing you to transform them back and forth at will.

To return to the original form, simply visit the Pokémon’s page in Storage and select the ‘Change Form’ button again. This means you don’t need to collect more Crowned Energy if you change your mind later on.

With these new forms available, trainers can now access powerful Steel-type moves like Behemoth Blade and Behemoth Bash. Don’t forget to try out other features like Power Spots, Gift Exchange, and Party Play while you’re hunting down rare Pokémon and competing in the Go Battle League.
