The highly-anticipated action-adventure game, Ghost of Yotei, is set to release exclusively for the PlayStation 5 (PS5) on October 2. Developed by Team Ninja, this game follows Atsu as she seeks vengeance against a gang of outlaws known as the Yotei Six.
Unlike a direct sequel, Ghost of Yotei has an unrelated storyline, drawing inspiration from classic martial arts films like Kill Bill. Players will navigate an open-world map, making choices on how to approach their objectives and eliminate the Yotei Six members.
Preorder options for Ghost of Yotei are now available. The Standard Edition is priced at $69.99 across various retailers, including Amazon and GameStop. A Digital Deluxe Edition costs $79.99 and includes exclusive in-game items such as armor dye, a horse, and a sword kit.
The Collector’s Edition, available exclusively on PS Direct, features additional physical items like a mask, papercraft ginkgo tree, and art cards. Preordering the game also unlocks a digital preorder bonus package with seven PSN avatars, an in-game mask, and more.
