Sony has provided more information about its upcoming game, Ghost of Yotei, ahead of its scheduled release on PS5 in 2025. The sequel to the popular action-adventure game Ghost of Tsushima will feature a new protagonist named Atsu as she seeks revenge for her family’s murder.
Atsu’s journey takes place in 1603, three centuries after the events of the original game, and is set in the lands surrounding Mount Yotei in present-day Japan. The story follows Atsu as she completes various jobs, including bounties, to earn money for her quest.
According to the game’s official page, Atsu will utilize a range of weapons, including an ōdachi, kusarigama, and dual katanas. Enhanced performance and visuals on the PS5 Pro are expected to provide an immersive gaming experience.
Development by Sucker Punch Productions is nearing completion, with the exact release date yet to be announced.
