Giants Practice in Pads, Offense Makes Positive Push

The New York Giants’ first padded practice on Monday saw a shift in momentum from defense to offense. The final period focused on the running game, with the offense succeeding despite the defense anticipating these plays. Tyrone Tracy, Devin Singletary, and rookie Cam Skattebo made strong runs, aided by the first- and second-team offenses.

Right tackle Jermaine Eluemunor stated that it was a “good day for the offense,” adding that the team finished on a high note. The defense will likely come out more aggressive tomorrow to win the day.

In one-on-one drills, LT James Hudson smacked down Kayvon Thibodeaux with his right arm, but defensive line coach Andre Patterson intervened to prevent further escalation.

Offensive lineman Brian Burns was blindsided by WR Wan’Dale Robinson on Friday and suffered pain during the collision. After scans confirmed no serious injury, Burns attributed his caution to ensuring everything was working properly.

The Giants signed Gunner Olszewski, addressing an opening in their special teams unit after Bryce Ford-Wheaton suffered a season-ending Achilles rupture. Coach Brian Daboll expressed sympathy for Ford-Wheaton, highlighting the player’s dedication and hard work in returning from injury.
