Giants Sign Safety Jevon Holland to $45M Deal

The New York Giants bolstered their defense Tuesday by signing safety Jevon Holland to a three-year contract worth up to $46.8 million, with $30.3 million guaranteed, per ESPN. A four-year Miami Dolphin starter, Holland is the team’s fourth defensive addition this week, joining cornerback Paulson Adebo and defensive linemen Chauncey Golston and Roy Robertson-Harris.

The 25-year-old will pair with second-year safety Tyler Nubin (98 tackles in 2023) as New York’s starting duo. Despite a career-low 62 tackles last season, Holland brings experience: he totaled 301 tackles, five interceptions, and five forced fumbles in four seasons with Miami, including a 2022 campaign where he led the team with 96 tackles.

The Giants also re-signed wide receiver Darius Slayton to a three-year deal. ESPN’s Marcel Louis-Jacques contributed reporting.
