Giants’ Wilson and Dart Shine in Preseason Debut

The New York Giants kicked off their preseason with a 34-25 win over the Buffalo Bills, thanks to a strong performance from quarterback Russell Wilson and rookie Jaxson Dart. Coach Brian Daboll gave Wilson and the starting offense a series while the defensive starters played two series, showing his confidence in the team’s depth.

Russell Wilson led the Giants’ first drive, going 6-for-7 for 26 passing yards, before handing over to Dart. The rookie QB impressed, completing 12 of 19 passes for 154 yards and one touchdown. Dart also showed poise under pressure, managing a two-minute situation in the first half.

The Giants’ defense, led by linebacker Abdul Carter, held strong against the Bills’ offense. Carter looked every bit like the No. 3 pick, playing six snaps and making it easy on the quarterback with his pass-rushing skills.

Tyrone Tracy continued to emerge as the Giants’ best running back, touching the ball on four consecutive possessions in the first drive. Dante Miller also made a big impact, earning plenty of snaps and showing his speed with seven receptions for 80 yards.

However, the Giants’ left side of the line struggled, with tackle James Hudson committing two penalties. The team will look to improve this unit as they head into their next game against the Jets.

Overall, the Giants’ preseason debut was a promising start, showcasing the team’s depth and talent. With Wilson and Dart leading the way, fans are optimistic about the team’s chances this season.
