A new documentary, Searching For Stars Hollow, is in the works to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Gilmore Girls. The film, produced by Ink On Paper Studios, will examine the show’s impact on American cultural history and feature never-before-seen interviews with cast members, crew, writers, and directors.
The doc will include interviews with notable stars such as Kelly Bishop, Jared Padalecki, Chad Michael Murray, Keiko Agena, Sally Struthers, Liz Torres, and more. It will also shed light on the show’s creation, its unique blend of humor, heart, and pop culture, and how it continues to resonate across generations.
Directed by Meghna Balakumar and Kevin Konrad Hanna, with executive production by Adam F. Goldberg, Searching For Stars Hollow promises to be an in-depth look at Gilmore Girls’ legacy. The documentary’s release date has yet to be announced, but fans can follow the doc’s pre-launch page for updates on Kickstarter.
