Girl Scout Cookie season is underway, but two popular flavors will be discontinued after this year. The S’mores cookie, launched in 2017, and Toast-Yay!, introduced in 2021, will not return for the next season.
According to Girl Scouts of the USA, the organization regularly reevaluates its cookie lineup to make room for new innovations. Discontinuing these two flavors may lead to something new and delicious. The S’mores cookie is unavailable in Northern California this year due to differences in regional operations with Little Brownie Bakers. In contrast, fans of Toast-Yay! can get their final fix locally.
However, all other traditional Girl Scout Cookies, such as Thin Mints, Caramel deLites, and Peanut Butter Patties, will remain available. Cookie prices have increased to $7 per box due to rising costs and distribution expenses. The nationwide cookie season began on January 7, while in Northern California, the digital sales start on January 13 and in-person sales begin on February 6.
