GM Recalls Over 90,000 Vehicles Due to Transmission Issues

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has issued multiple recalls affecting over 100,000 General Motors vehicles. The most recent recalls include issues with transmissions in Cadillac and Chevrolet models.

General Motors recalled approximately 90,081 vehicles due to a transmission control valve problem. This may cause gradual loss of pressure, leading to harsh shifting or temporary wheel lockups. Affected vehicles include the 2019-2020 Cadillac CT6, 2020-2021 Cadillac CT4, 2020-2021 Cadillac CT5, and 2020-2022 Chevrolet Camaro.

Another recall affects approximately 7,276 Range Rovers due to a faulty seat belt buckle. The issue is caused by a manufacturing error, which may prevent the second-row center seat belt from latching correctly. Ineos Automotive Americas has also recalled about 7,022 Grenadier vehicles due to a door button mechanism problem. This issue was caused by insufficient grease application, preventing the door from fully latching. Dealers will provide free repairs and owner notification letters for both recalls.
