Gmail Upgrades Search with AI-Powered Relevance Features

Gmail is rolling out a new search feature that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to show users the most relevant results faster. The update replaces traditional chronological sorting of search results with an algorithm that considers factors like recency, most-clicked emails, and frequent contacts.

With this change, Gmail’s search results will prioritize the most relevant emails over previous ones. This means you’re more likely to find what you’re looking for at the top of your search results, saving you time and effort. The new feature is available now on the web and in the official Gmail app for Android and iOS.

Users can toggle between “most relevant” and “most recent” results in their account settings. This update aims to make it easier for users to find important information quickly. While initially only available for personal Google accounts, the feature will be expanded to business users in the future.
