Goldberg, a three-time world champion, is making his highly anticipated return to WWE television at 58 years old. He will face off against Gunther for the World Heavyweight championship on July 12 at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Atlanta, marking the beginning of “The Last Ride” of his illustrious career. Goldberg’s roots in Atlanta run deep, as he won his most famous match and WCW championship at the Georgia Dome in 1998, defeating Hulk Hogan in the process. With WWE seeking to capitalize on Goldberg’s star power once again, the promotion is set to counter-program against AEW’s biggest event of the year, All In, taking place in Texas.
