Google Delves into Knowledge with NotebookLM’s New Featured Notebooks

Google is expanding its AI-powered research assistant, NotebookLM, by adding a series of featured notebooks from renowned authors, researchers, and publications. This new feature aims to provide users with diverse topics, including health advice, travel tips, financial analysis, and more.

The initial collection includes contributions from The Economist, The Atlantic, professors, authors, and even Shakespeare’s works. Users can explore these notebooks through the app, reading original source material, asking questions, and getting answers with citations. They can also listen to pre-generated Audio Overviews or browse main themes using Mind Maps.

Since its recent launch, NotebookLM has seen over 140,000 public notebooks shared. Google plans to expand its featured notebook collection in the months ahead, including more collaborations with The Economist and The Atlantic. This new update rolls out to NotebookLM on desktop today, offering users a wealth of knowledge at their fingertips.
