Google Ditches Observed Commemorative Months on Calendar

Google has stopped including Black History Month, Pride Month, and other observed commemorative months on its calendar. Users will still be able to manually add these holidays, but the tech company no longer recognizes them as official events. This change comes after timeanddate.com provided public holidays and national observances for years. Google now relies on this database, allowing users to customize their settings within the app to show or hide certain holidays.
