Google has integrated its popular AI search feature, “AI Mode”, into the desktop version of Chrome on Windows and Mac. Users can now launch “AI Mode” directly from the address bar or a new tab by pressing specific keys after entering a search keyword or prompt. The integration is part of an ongoing rollout that started with Android and iOS versions of the Google and Chrome apps. A new version, v142.0.7444.176, will automatically update users’ desktop Chrome experiences with the AI Mode feature.
