Google Keep Gets Long-Awaited “Find in Note” Feature

Google Keep, a popular note-taking app, may be getting an upgrade to its search functionality. Android Authority spotted a new feature called “Find in note” in the app’s version 5.25.282.00.90. However, this tool is not yet fully functional and causes crashes when used.

When enabled, “Find in note” allows users to search within specific notes without having to sort through their entire library of lists, recipes, and tasks. This feature is particularly useful for locating specific details or phrases within longer documents.

Although the feature is available, it’s not implemented yet, so users can still access it through Google Chrome on desktop or mobile devices using the “Find on page” option. A clunky workaround, but a necessary one considering how long this feature has been requested by users.
