Google Messages Rolls Out Dual SIM RCS Support in Beta

Google Messages has started supporting dual SIM RCS (Rich Communication Services) this year, and the update is now being rolled out to users in beta. The feature allows both phone numbers associated with a single account to be active simultaneously.

In a recent development, more users are reporting successful use of dual SIM RCS support with the latest Google Messages beta (version 20250112_00_RC00). This feature is available on various phone models, including Samsung devices, and can be used with physical SIMs or eSIMs, eliminating the need for specific hardware.

However, not all users have reported experiencing dual SIM RCS support yet. The rollout is server-side, meaning that updates will continue to roll out gradually. Users are advised to try restarting their phones to check if they have received the update.

The feature can be enabled in the Settings menu under “RCS chats,” where both phone numbers are noted as “Connected” with checkboxes to disable or enable each SIM.
