Google NotebookLM Adds Infographic Tool for Visual Learning

Google’s NotebookLM has updated its feature to create infographics from various materials like PDFs, websites, videos, or documents. To use the new tool, open a NotebookLM Notebook and tap the “infographic” button on the right panel.

To get an infographic, select your desired sources in the left panel and ensure they are checked off. If you have multiple Chrome profiles with different usage, test the feature with each profile to see how it performs.

The new tool is initially labeled as a beta feature but works well with some users’ accounts. The infographics feature will be rolled out fully at various times, so keep an eye on its progress.

This update can be beneficial for visual learners who struggle with traditional note-taking methods like mind maps or flowcharts. If you’re not a visual learner yourself, this tool might still be useful to you as a supplementary learning aid.
