Google Photos Introduces QR Code Sharing Feature for Albums and Memories

Google Photos is testing a new feature that allows users to share entire albums and memories via QR codes. The feature is currently in internal testing and not available to the public yet. To use it, users need to open an album or memory, tap the plus icon, and select “Show QR code” on the share sheet. They then scan the code with their desired device. While details about when the feature will be available are unknown, the test suggests that Google may soon make it possible for users to share albums and memories via QR codes. However, until then, Quick Share remains the best option for sharing photos with nearby devices.
