Google Photos is introducing a new “Create” tab, which provides one location to access various editing tools. The tab will appear between Collections and Ask/Search, featuring a paintbrush icon.
The current top slot highlights Photo to video, while the Your tools grid lists:
– Animations: A quick-moving GIF of selected photos and videos
– Cinematic photos: A 3D effect added to photos
– Collage: Combine multiple photos in one stylish layout
– Highlight videos: A video with music that uses photos and videos
– Photo to video: Animate your photo into a dynamic six-second video clip
The Create tab is currently rolling out with version 7.40 on Android, but its availability is not yet widespread. The addition aims to simplify the editing process for users, providing easy access to various creative tools.
