Google has unveiled its new flagship series, the Pixel 10, with three models available for pre-order now. The Pixel 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL will start shipping next week on August 28, while the foldable version, Pixel 10 Pro Fold, won’t be out until early October.
The Pixel 10 is a vanilla model with a telephoto lens but loses some key features from its predecessor, such as a large sensor. It comes with a $100 Amazon Gift Card and is priced similarly to last year’s models.
The Pixel 10 Pro offers significant upgrades, including a superior display, more RAM, and better cameras. The Pro XL takes it a step further with an even larger display, faster charging, and the same high-end features as the standard Pro model.
Compared to Samsung’s latest flagship series, the Google Pixel 10 series seems to fall behind in terms of camera capabilities, battery endurance, and weight. However, the Pixel 10 Pro XL offers better cameras than the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, which could be an advantage for some users.
Meanwhile, Samsung has introduced new foldable options, including the Z Fold7 and Edge models, as well as a smartwatch with Satellite SOS capabilities. Google’s next-generation smartwatch, the Pixel Watch 4, promises improved battery life and health tracking, but lacks satellite calling features.
The Pixel 10 series is now available for pre-order, with prices starting at $599 for the vanilla model.
