Google’s flagship Pixel 9 Pro is now available at its lowest price yet, with the unlocked 128GB model discounted to $799. This marks a new low for the phone on Amazon, and it also applies to the 256GB ($899), 512GB ($1,019), and 1TB ($1,249) versions.
The Pixel 9 Pro is a mid-range option between the budget-friendly Pixel 9 and the foldable Pixel 9 Pro XL. It features 16GB of RAM, 128GB storage, and a 120Hz refresh rate, with Android 14 on board. According to Lifehacker’s associate tech editor Michelle Ehrhardt, the phone’s hardware is among Google’s best offerings, but its AI features still require some improvement.
In terms of camera capabilities, the Pixel 9 Pro boasts a 50MP main shooter, a 48MP ultra-wide lens, and a 30x Super Res Zoom. Battery life can last around 18 hours and 40 minutes, according to Michelle’s review.
One advantage of owning a Pixel phone is its excellent ongoing support for years to come. Even older models like the Pixel 6A continue to receive updates and new features, with the latest drops just last month. The Pixel 9 Pro follows suit, offering quality and software updates for around seven years.
