Alphabet Inc.’s Google has launched the redesigned Pixel 9a, a budget-friendly smartphone priced at $499. This price point is comparable to last year’s Pixel 8a model. The new phone features improved chip and battery life upgrades, weeks ahead of Apple’s lower-end iPhone 16e, which starts at $599 and is positioned as an alternative to the iPhone 16. The Pixel 9a will become available in stores this April.
