Google has introduced the latest iteration of its Pixel Watch series, dubbed Pixel Watch 4. The device boasts significant design upgrades, new fitness features, and expanded AI capabilities.
The watch boasts a stunning domed Actua 360 display, offering a larger active area and an edgeless appearance with smaller bezels. It also features a more personalized and responsive feel, thanks to Material 3 Expressive technology, which brings the display to life with richer colors and eye-catching clock faces.
Pixel Watch 4 is powered by a long-lasting battery that provides up to 30 hours of usage on the 41mm model. The watch also supports fast charging, enabling users to charge up to 25% in just 15 minutes. Furthermore, it features a durable design with custom Corning Gorilla Glass and an aerospace-grade aluminum housing.
One of the standout features of Pixel Watch 4 is its integration with satellite communications. The device can connect to emergency services through a series of geo-stationary satellites, dispatching help to users’ locations even when they’re off the grid.
The watch also delivers advanced health and fitness capabilities, including smarter sleep tracking, enhanced skin temperature sensing, and more accurate route tracking. Additionally, it offers personalized coaching from a 24/7 AI-powered health coach, built with Gemini.
Pixel Watch 4 is available for preorder now, with prices starting at $349 for the Wi-Fi model and $449 for the LTE model, depending on the size. The device will be available on shelves starting October 9.
