Google has reported a record-setting Q2 earnings call, with the company showcasing remarkable growth in its AI, cloud, YouTube, and Waymo businesses.
AI-driven Search features have seen double-digit revenue growth, with over 10% more queries globally driven by Gemini Overviews. The new end-to-end search experience, AI Mode, has attracted over 100 million monthly active users in the US and India. Additionally, AI-powered meeting notes in Google Meet have been used by nearly 50 million people.
Google Cloud continues to see significant demand, with deals exceeding $1 billion signed in the first half of 2025, doubling year-over-year. The company has also expanded its AI infrastructure offerings, introducing new innovations such as Anywhere Cache and Rapid Storage, which improve inference latency.
YouTube has led U.S. streaming watch time for over two years, and AI is helping improve recommendations and Auto Dubbing, resulting in better returns for creators and brands. The platform now averages over 200 billion daily views on YouTube Shorts.
Waymo continues to scale and expand, launching new services in Atlanta, Austin, Los Angeles, and San Francisco Bay Area territories. The company has also launched Teen Accounts starting with riders aged 14-17 in Phoenix.
