Google has begun rolling out its latest Gemini models to the web, Android, and iOS apps. The update includes new features such as improved efficiency and speed in the Flash Thinking model, file upload support for everyone, and a new Deep Research feature.
The 2.0 Pro model remains unchanged, while the Personalization experimental model provides personalized recommendations based on users’ search history. Users with Advanced subscriptions can now access a larger context window during file uploads.
The latest update also marks the introduction of Saved info, which allows Google to recall and reference past chats when answering prompts in over 45 languages. This feature is part of Google’s effort to develop a personal AI assistant that understands users’ needs beyond just general queries.
With these updates, Gemini users can access various models tailored to their needs, including Flash Thinking (experimental), Deep Research, Personalization (experimental), and 2.0 Pro (experimental).
