Google Rolls Out Pixel Camera Education Hub and New Features

Google has introduced the Pixel Camera education hub, bringing new features and improvements to users of Android’s latest operating system. The top toolbar in the app now includes a “?” icon that takes you to an educational section where you can learn about various camera modes and how to use them.

The pixel community’s sample shots will be displayed to illustrate what each mode is capable of. A floating “Open Camera” button in the bottom-right corner allows you to switch back to the viewfinder. Tips on features such as 10-bit HDR video recording, manual lens recording, Pro controls, and locked folder are also available.

New users of the Pixel camera can particularly benefit from the education hub, which is now live for those running Android 16 with the latest Pixel Camera app version (v9.9) or higher. To access this feature, ensure your device’s camera app is updated to v9.9 or later.
