Google is transforming its services with new Gemini features. Starting today, these updates are available for AI Pro and AI Ultra subscribers, as well as Gemini Alpha business customers in the US-English language.
The main focus of these updates is on Google Drive’s search functionality, which now includes AI Overviews. This feature uses semantic search to provide highly relevant results, often answering questions directly instead of listing keywords.
You can ask questions like “What customer feedback did we have from our winter 2025 campaign?” and Gemini will pull the answer with detailed information.
In Google Slides, a new feature called Create a slide has been added, which allows you to edit slides based on your overall theme and pulls context from your files, emails, and web. You can also ask Gemini to generate a presentation for you based on your document and corporate branding style.
Google Sheets will now allow users to build or edit entire spreadsheets using natural language prompts. Gemini can orchestrate complex data construction, synthesizing information across files, emails, chat, and the web.
These updates make Google services more interactive and efficient for businesses and individuals alike.
