Google Unveils Pixel 10 Series with Tensor G5 and Camera Upgrades

Big Tech’s fall hardware events are underway, with Google’s Made by Google event taking center stage. The new Pixel 10 lineup is set to be unveiled on August 20, along with updates on watches and earbuds.

Google has teased a number of surprises for the event, including celebrity appearances from Jimmy Fallon, Stephen Curry, Lando Norris, and the Jonas Brothers. While leaks have revealed details about the new hardware, there’s still much to be confirmed.

The Pixel 10 phones are expected to feature a more power-efficient Tensor G5 processor, which could enable Gemini AI features. Camera upgrades will include a 5x telephoto lens on the base model, as well as higher-resolution cameras across the board.

Other notable updates include Qi2 magnetic charging, dubbed “Pixelsnap,” and new accessories for the Pixel Watch 4 and Pixel Buds 2a. For fans of live coverage, the event can be watched on August 20 at 1PM ET, with Engadget providing a detailed rundown of the leaks beforehand.
