Google has introduced its latest artificial intelligence (AI) model, Gemini 3.1 Pro, which boasts improved reasoning capabilities and smarter problem-solving skills. The new model is designed to tackle complex tasks more efficiently than its predecessor.
Gemini 3.1 Pro’s benchmarks show significant improvements over its predecessor, with a score of 77.1% in the ARC-AGI-2 test for abstract reasoning puzzles. This enhancement enables the AI model to create animations that can be scaled without losing quality, generate entire websites based on character descriptions, and design interactive 3D starling murmurations.
The new model is rolling out across various products, including the Gemini app, AI Studio, Gemini Enterprise, Antigravity, Android Studio, and NotebookLM for users with premium plans. Google claims that Gemini 3.1 Pro marks a “step forward in core reasoning” and will enable users to tackle more complex tasks.
Google’s latest move comes just days after Anthropic released its own AI model, Sonnet 4.6, which can operate at a human baseline level.
