The 65th annual Grammy Awards kicked off with a bang as The Beatles and The Rolling Stones won early accolades.
The Beatles took home the best rock performance award for “Now And Then”, their final song, which was assembled from a demo by late John Lennon.
Meanwhile, The Rolling Stones won the best rock album award for their 2023 comeback, Hackney Diamonds.
Other notable winners include Sabrina Carpenter and Charli XCX, who scooped prizes in the pop and dance categories respectively.
The show also paid tribute to those affected by the LA wildfires, with an all-star rendition of Simon & Garfunkel’s Bridge Over Troubled Water.
Grammys CEO Harvey Mason Jr expressed his gratitude for music’s ability to unite and heal.
Beyoncé is a front-runner this year, with her album Cowboy Carter shortlisted for 11 awards, including best country performance by a duo or group.
