Greenland Opens Doors to US Cooperation Amid Arctic Rush

Greenland’s Prime Minister Mute B. Egede has expressed willingness to cooperate with the US, particularly in the mining sector, as the country pushes for greater independence amid renewed interest from Donald Trump. The move comes after House Republicans introduced a bill, dubbed “Make Greenland Great Again Act”, which highlights the Arctic island’s efforts to increase ties with the US. Egede stated that Greenland has initiated dialogue with the US and seeks opportunities for cooperation under President Trump’s leadership.
