Rockstar Games has announced that an update will be available on March 4, bringing console-exclusive content and technical improvements to Grand Theft Auto Online and the single-player experience of Grand Theft Auto 5 on PC.
For PC players, a range of new content is included. These include vehicle upgrades at Hao’s Special Works (HSW), Premium Test Rides, HSW Races, and HSW Time Trials. Players can also participate in the daily Wildlife Photography Challenge for rewards and sign up for GTA+ Membership for special benefits.
The update will bring various technical improvements, such as support for AMD FSR1 and FSR3, NVIDIA DLSS 3, ray tracing features like ambient occlusion and global illumination, faster loading times using SSD and DirectStorage on supported devices, enhanced audio with Dolby Atmos support, and improved framerates at higher resolutions.
However, it’s worth noting that this update will split Grand Theft Auto Online into two separate instances. Players who remain on the original version of the game won’t be able to play in sessions together with those playing the upgraded version.
