Rockstar Games has released a free update for PC players of Grand Theft Auto V, bringing parity with console versions. The Expanded & Enhanced Los Santos update includes technical improvements and PC-specific features like ray tracing, available to those meeting the recommended specs. Minor additions include ambient wildlife, photography challenges, new vehicles, and access to the GTA+ subscription service. The original version has been delisted from PC storefronts in favor of this updated iteration, allowing players to migrate Story Mode and Online progress. This update follows previous upgrades to other entries in the GTA franchise, including remastered versions of Grand Theft Auto III, Vice City, and San Andreas.
