The highly-anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA VI) console release is just months away, with a fall 2025 launch window confirmed. However, PC users face uncertainty, as the game’s release on this platform appears to be delayed.
Take-Two Interactive, the publisher of GTA VI, has stated that the game will launch in the fall of 2025 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles. Meanwhile, Corsair’s CEO Andrew Paul suggested that a PC release might occur as early as 2026, but this statement was later clarified by the company, stating it was speculative and not based on any concrete information.
This uncertainty has fans worried, given Rockstar’s history of delaying game releases for PC. The company’s previous title, Grand Theft Auto V, took 19 months to reach PC after its console launch. With neither Rockstar nor Take-Two confirming a PC release date, the only option is to remain hopeful that a similar delay will not occur.
For now, fans can only wait and hope for an update on the game’s PC release plans.
