Blizzard Entertainment has announced a new collaboration with the popular anime series “Gundam Wing” for Overwatch 2. This partnership marks the first time the two franchises have come together, celebrating the iconic mecha designs from the classic anime.
The limited-time event introduces Legendary Skins inspired by the mechas from Gundam Wing, allowing players to transform into their favorite heroes with an anime-inspired aesthetic. These transformations include Mercy as Wing Gundam Zero, Ramattra as Epyon, Soldier: 76 as Tallgeese, and Reaper as Deathscythe.
Players can participate in special event challenges to earn exclusive rewards, such as the Shinigami title and the Zero System spray. These unique customization options will enhance gameplay and provide an engaging experience for fans of both franchises.
The crossover event is available from April 29 through May 13, giving players a limited time to experience the fusion of Overwatch and Gundam Wing.
