Game show host and Fox Nation personality Greg Gutfeld is launching a new program on Fox Nation, “Greg Gutfeld’s What Did I Miss?”, where contestants competing for a $50,000 prize will have to guess which headlines are real news and which are fake. Four contestants who were isolated in upstate New York between January 20 and April 13 will face this challenge.
Gutfeld will be joined by two “Gutfeld!” regulars, comedian Jamie Lissow and Kat Timpf, who is returning to TV after being diagnosed with breast cancer just hours before giving birth. The show’s three-episode run starts on May 12.
Isolated for months, contestants will have to decide which headlines from the past few months are legitimate and which ones are false. The show promises to be entertaining, featuring a mix of humor and trivia. Gutfeld joked that his isolation would help contestants learn what really happened during their time away from the news cycle.
The new show comes after Fox News achieved its best quarterly ratings in cable news history between January and March. “Gutfeld!” had its highest-rated quarter in four years, with 3.3 million viewers tuning in. The show consistently draws more viewers than late-night hosts like Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert.
