The two were married in 1993 but divorced in 1997, citing “irreconcilable differences.” During a recent podcast appearance, Justice suggested that the marriage ended due to Berry’s lack of domestic duties.
However, Berry shot back with a series of Instagram posts, seemingly responding to Justice’s remarks. One photo showed her laughing and vacationing with musician Van Hunt, accompanied by the caption “Phew…! cooking, cleaning and mothering.” The post appeared to be a tongue-in-cheek response to Justice’s comments about her domestic skills.
Justice had also claimed that Berry asked him to marry her after only five months of dating. He argued that his own inexperience with relationships at the time made it difficult for him to make informed decisions, and ultimately contributed to their divorce issues.
Berry has since spoken out about the situation, seemingly defending herself against Justice’s criticisms. Despite the public comments, both Berry and Justice have moved on to new relationships. Berry shares two children with her ex-husband Oliver Martinez, while Justice is married to businesswoman Rebecca Villalobos and has three children of his own.
The exchange has sparked renewed attention on Berry’s past marriage, but it appears that she is focused on moving forward and celebrating her current life.
