Happy Days Cast Reunites After 50 Years with Ron Howard and Henry Winkler

The iconic TV show “Happy Days” brought its beloved cast members together for a rare reunion, with Henry Winkler, Ron Howard, Anson Williams, and Don Most reuniting at Steel City Con in Pittsburgh on April 5. The actors shared their reflections on the popular show, which ran for 11 seasons from 1974 to 1984.

During the event, Henry Winkler noted that this was the first time the group had appeared together in a public setting after more than 50 years, jokingly saying “It feels like 50 minutes” instead of decades. Ron Howard added that the reunion was a chance for them to come together and have fun, as they were all close friends.

The show, set in Milwaukee in the 1950s and 1960s, followed the Cunningham family and Richie’s friends Potsie and Ralph, among others. Winkler praised creator Garry Marshall, saying he chose a wonderful cast and encouraged teamwork and camaraderie on set. Howard added that the show’s ensemble format was key to its success, as it brought together talented actors who became like a community.

The group discussed their experiences working on the show, which was more than just a job – it was a life experience they will always treasure. They reminisced about their time together, including playing softball and traveling the country as a team. The reunion marked a special moment for the Happy Days cast, who have remained close over the years despite not often appearing in public together.

Their strong relationships and shared experiences were on full display during the panel discussion, which was also attended by other “Happy Days” alumni. The reunion is just one example of how the show’s enduring popularity has brought its stars back together once again.
