Happy Days Cast Reunites at Steel City Con in Pittsburgh

Four former stars of the beloved ’70s and ’80s sitcom Happy Days reunited on Saturday at Steel City Con in Pittsburgh, bringing together Henry Winkler, Ron Howard, Anson Williams, and Don Most. The reunion marked a rare public appearance for all four castmates, who shared the stage to reminisce about their time on the show.

Set in Milwaukee, Happy Days followed the lives of a family living in the 1950s and ’60s, focusing on teenager Richie Cunningham (Howard) and his friends Potsie Weber (Williams), Ralph Malph (Most), and local bad boy Arthur “Fonzie” Fonzarelli (Winkler). The show ran for 11 seasons on ABC from 1974 to 1984.

Cast members praised the show’s creator, Garry Marshall, and credited his vision with bringing together a talented ensemble cast. Ron Howard noted that the show was an ensemble effort, allowing them to grow and develop as actors. Henry Winkler added that the friendships formed during filming have endured despite personal losses, including those of Tom Bosley, Erin Moran, Pat Morita, Al Molinaro, and Heather O’Rourke.

The reunion comes after several recent reunions between cast members, including a 2023 wedding where Anson Williams served as best man for his partner Sharon MaHarry. The group also came together to present an award at the 2024 Emmys in tribute to Happy Days.
