Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews took a beating from Sunday’s loss to the Bills, fumbling and dropping a game-tying two-point conversion attempt. Coach John Harbaugh and quarterback Lamar Jackson defended their teammate, saying it wasn’t Andrews’ fault.
“We wouldn’t be here without Mark Andrews,” said Harbaugh. “He handles these situations fantastic because he’s a high-character person.”
Jackson pointed to his own mistakes, not Andrews’. “We’re a team. First half I had two turnovers… It’s a team effort. Mark’s been making plays for us all season. I’m not putting this on him.”
Andrews is one of the best players in Ravens franchise history, but this loss may be his most memorable game due to crucial mistakes by quarterback Lamar Jackson.
