The HBO Original Harry Potter television series has expanded its cast with nine new roles. The additions include Katherine Parkinson as Molly Weasley, Lox Pratt as Draco Malfoy, Johnny Flynn as Lucius Malfoy, Leo Earley as Seamus Finnigan, Alessia Leoni as Parvati Patil, Sienna Moosah as Lavender Brown, Bel Powley as Petunia Dursley, and Daniel Rigby as Vernon Dursley.
The series will be a faithful adaptation of J.K. Rowling’s beloved books, with each season introducing new characters to fans. Streaming exclusively on HBO Max, the show will debut in Germany, Italy, and the UK, while the original classic films remain available worldwide.
Francesca Gardiner serves as writer and executive producer, alongside Mark Mylod, who will also direct multiple episodes. The series is co-produced by J.K. Rowling, Neil Blair, Ruth Kenley-Letts, and David Heyman of various production companies, including Brontë Film and TV and Warner Bros. Television.
