‘Harry Potter’ TV Series Reveals New Weasley Siblings Cast

HBO’s highly anticipated “Harry Potter” television series has found its actors for most of the Weasley siblings. Production on the show, based on J.K. Rowling’s books, began recently and is set to premiere in 2027 with new seasons releasing through 2037.

The network has already announced several casting choices. Tristan Harland and Gabriel Harland, twins known for their roles in “The Last Kingdom,” will play Fred and George Weasley, respectively. Ruari Spooner will portray Percy Weasley, while Gracie Cochrane will bring Ginny Weasley to life.

However, two characters remain uncast: Charlie Weasley, an older brother mentioned in the books but not in the films, and father Arthur Weasley, with Molly Weasley already cast by Katherine Parkinson. Bill Weasley’s role is also pending casting.

The series, like its film counterparts, will be an adaptation of Rowling’s popular novels. The show’s executive producer, J.K. Rowling, has been involved in the project from the start. Filming is taking place at the Warner Bros. Studios in Leavesden, United Kingdom.

No specific premiere date has been announced for the series, but HBO has confirmed it will debut sometime in 2027, with new seasons set to release over the next decade.
