HBO has delayed the release of its new film, Mountainhead. Instead of premiering on May 31 at 8 pm ET/PT, it will now be available for viewers starting at 12:01 a.m. PT/3:01 a.m. ET. The film was initially set to air at its usual time but will still debut on HBO as planned.
Mountainhead follows a group of billionaire friends in the face of an international crisis. The cast includes Steve Carell, Jason Schwartzman, and Cory Michael Smith, with Ramy Youssef also starring. Other notable actors in supporting roles are Hadley Robinson, Andy Daly, Ali Kinkade, and more.
The film is directed by Jesse Armstrong, who co-wrote it as well. Executive producers include Armstrong, Frank Rich, Lucy Prebble, Jon Brown, Tony Roche, Will Tracy, Mark Mylod, and Jill Footlick.
