HBO’s “The Last of Us” Season 2 Premiere Set for April 13

HBO has announced that the highly anticipated second season of its hit series “The Last of Us” will premiere on April 13. The new season follows the sequel to the popular video game, “The Last of Us: Part II,” and takes place five years after the events of the first season.

The cast for Season 2 includes Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, Isabela Merced as Dina, and Young Mazino as Jesse, among others. Catherine O’Hara is set to guest star in an undisclosed role, while Jeffrey Wright reprises his “Part II” character as Issac, the ruthless leader of the Washington Liberation.

Showrunner Craig Mazin has promised that each episode will be a “high-calorie,” dense experience, with seven episodes planned for the season. The tone and scope of the new season are expected to deliver an epic viewing experience, with plenty of action, drama, and excitement.
