Reality TV stars and former “Hills” alums Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have faced a devastating blow – their home was destroyed in the recent Palisades Fire in Los Angeles County. However, Montag has found solace in her music as fans rally around her to support her post-disaster. Her 2010 song and album “Superficial” topped iTunes’ charts on Monday, reaching No. 1 spot in multiple countries. The milestone came after Pratt encouraged his followers on TikTok to help the couple earn money by streaming Montag’s track, which their fans have done en masse.
The duo rose to fame through the reality show “The Hills,” and have been documenting their experience of being evacuated from their home. Unfortunately, it was later confirmed that both their home and Pratt’s parents’ house were lost in the fire. Multiple wildfires are currently raging in LA County, including the Palisades Fire, which is considered the most destructive ever, with over 23,000 acres affected.
At least 24 people have died and dozens remain missing as authorities struggle to contain the fires. The situation remains dire, with officials warning that the fire threat will persist due to returning Santa Ana winds this week.
