Miami Heat’s Tyler Herro edged out Golden State Warriors’ Buddy Hield to win the 2025 Starry 3-point Contest. In a nail-biting final round, Herro scored 24 points, including both of his long-distance 3-point shots, while Hield fell short despite a strong first-round performance with 31 points. Darius Garland took third place with 19 points, and Damian Lillard was eliminated in the first round. This marks Herro’s fourth win in the contest, following in the footsteps of previous champions Glen Rice, Daequan Cook, and James Jones.
