Hidden Gems for Fantasy Drafts in Rounds 4-8

Finding reliable players in the middle rounds of fantasy drafts can give you a competitive edge over other league-mates. Here are seven players who should be considered for Rounds 4-8, despite their relatively low average draft position (ADP).

Brandon Purdy, QB – Round 9 (ADP)
Purdy had a solid season despite playing without several key players on his team. He averaged nearly 19 fantasy points per game in Weeks 6-17 and scored at least 17 points in eight of his 10 games.

LaPorta, TE – Round 4 (ADP)
After a sophomore slump, LaPorta regained his form in the second half of the season. He’s a safe bet to catch seven to 10 touchdowns this year, with 17 career receiving touchdowns as tight ends in their first two seasons.

Conner, RB – Round 4 (ADP)
Conner has been consistent over his four seasons with the Cardinals, averaging 16 fantasy points per game. Despite some injury concerns and age, he’s a reliable fantasy producer when healthy.

Montgomery, RB – Round 5 (ADP)
Despite missing three weeks of the 2024 season due to injury, Montgomery was the RB11 in average scoring before his absence. He has scored at least 12 touchdowns in two consecutive seasons and is expected to continue producing this year.

Pollard, RB – Rounds 6-7 (ADP)
Pollard had a solid season with the Titans despite playing in a poor offense. Coach Brian Callahan plans to reduce his workload next season to keep him healthier, but Pollard should still produce similarly well.

Diggs, WR – Round 8 (ADP)
At 31 years old, Diggs is no longer the alpha WR1 he once was, but he’s still a solid fantasy producer. He finished as the WR9 overall in 2023 and has shown consistency in recent years.

Meyers, WR – Round 8 (ADP)
Meyers had better production than several top receivers last season, averaging 17.9 fantasy points per game with eight targets per game. With Geno Smith at the helm, he should continue to be a reliable target for scoring opportunities.
