Reality TV couple Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, who lost their Los Angeles home in recent wildfires, have gained widespread support from fans. The pair, married since 2008 and parents of two, were affected when their Pacific Palisades house was destroyed in the blaze last week.
To help raise funds, Spencer Pratt has been using social media to encourage his followers to stream Montag’s 2010 album “Superficial” on iTunes. This strategy appears to have worked as the album reached No.1 in both albums and songs categories over the weekend, beating out recent releases from top artists like Bad Bunny, Bruno Mars, and Morgan Wallen.
Heidi Montag expressed her gratitude for fans’ support, saying in a video post: “Thank you so much to everyone… Thank you for helping support us, helping build us back up, giving us hope and faith and excitement in such a dark time.”
Fans have been rallying behind the couple, with Flavor Flav also showing his support by posting a video of himself dancing to Montag’s song “I’ll Do It”. Meanwhile, Los Angeles is dealing with multiple fires, including the massive Palisades fire and Eaton fire in Altadena, resulting in over 150,000 people being under evacuation orders.
