Hisense Unveils Massive Laser TVs Capable of 150-Inch Screens

Hisense has made a significant splash in the TV market with its new L9 series of Laser TVs, capable of delivering massive images as big as 150 inches. The new range, set to debut at CES in Las Vegas next week, boasts improved brightness, color response, and sound systems.

The L9Qs will be available in sizes ranging from 100 to 136 inches, with peak brightness increased to 5,000 lumens. This is accompanied by a promising 5,000:1 contrast ratio, ensuring a vibrant image even in light living rooms. The TVs also cover the entire BT.2020 color space, providing an immersive viewing experience.

One of the standout features of the L9Qs is their new Auto Screen Alignment and manual keystone correction systems, making setup significantly easier. They also offer a 6.2.2-channel speaker system capable of delivering surround sound with Dolby Atmos effects.

The TVs have received a major aesthetic overhaul, featuring a luxury-inspired design with a Black Walnut decor panel, “Star Orbit” ambient lighting effects, and precision brushed metal finishes.

The L9Qs come equipped with Google TV smart systems, offering over 800 free live TV channels, 700,000+ movies and TV shows across more than 10,000 apps. Voice control via the Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa or Apple HomeKit systems is also available.

While pricing has yet to be confirmed, Hisense will showcase its new L9Q on display at CES, demonstrating a remarkable 1,500 nits of full-screen brightness in conjunction with its 2.9-gain screen.
