Carnell Warren, a 6-foot-4 wide receiver from Bluffton (S.C.) High School, has pledged his commitment to Virginia Tech football. The junior announced his decision during halftime of the 2025 Under Armour All-America Game, choosing the Hokies over fellow ACC programs Georgia Tech, Duke, and Wake Forest.
Warren expressed his enthusiasm for joining a program he believes is “good” with a strong environment and atmosphere. He credited recruiting coach Shawn Quinn for helping him understand Virginia Tech’s vision for him and promised to be a key player for the team. Warren also mentioned familiarity with future teammates from the 2025 class, including AJ Brand and Micah Matthews.
The highly touted wideout has impressive production, hauling in 59 passes for 846 yards and 14 touchdowns in his sophomore season. Despite potential scholarship offers, Warren declared himself “loyal” to Virginia Tech and is eager to join the team and contribute to its success.
